Stay on Track with the Logging Calendar

Back To Tutorials

Introduction: Finding patterns between your food and symptoms requires consistent tracking. TCT's Logging Calendar helps you see your progress at a glance and catch any gaps that could affect your results.

Where to Find Your Calendar

Your Logging Calendar lives right on your Dashboard. It shows the last 28 days of your tracking activity, ending with today's date.

Understanding the Calendar Symbols

Each day appears as a shape with a color:

  • Blue circle = You logged food that day
  • Green square = You logged symptoms that day
  • Blue circle with green square inside = You logged both food and symptoms (the goal!)
  • Empty/gray = Nothing logged yet

Why Complete Days Matter

The more complete your tracking, the better TCT can identify connections between what you eat and how you feel.

Missing days create blind spots. If you logged symptoms but not food (or vice versa), TCT can't analyze that day for patterns.

Goal: Aim for days that show both blue and green—meaning you tracked both food and symptoms.

How to Use the Calendar

1. Check for gaps Scan the calendar weekly. Do you see days with only one color or empty spaces?

2. Fill in missing entries Click any date to jump to that day and add what you remember. Even partial information helps.

3. Build a habit Set a daily reminder to log both meals and symptoms. Consistency is what unlocks insights.

Quick Tips

  • Log in real-time when possible - It's easier to remember details right after eating or when symptoms occur
  • End-of-day review - Check your calendar before bed to catch anything you missed
  • Aim for 21+ complete days - This gives TCT enough data to detect meaningful patterns

Bottom Line: Your Logging Calendar is your accountability partner. Use it daily to stay consistent, spot gaps, and ensure you're collecting the complete data you need to understand your body better.
