Meet The Suspect Food Identifier

A Unique Approach To Diet-Symptom Correlations

We attack the problem of identifying diet-symptom correlations from two fronts...
- We provide nutrient-symptom associations because too much or too little of certain nutrients could be the cause your symptom.
- Using a proprietary algorithm, we help you find potential food intolerances by linking your symptoms with the ingredients, allergens, and food items that you're consuming.

No More Dogmatic Diet Advice

We don't make any assumptions about how a certain food will response for your body. Discovering dietary sensitivities is a process that requires meticulous experimentation. We give you the knowledge and analysis tools to help you discover what works for you.

It Gets Better As You Use It

Each day you log your foods and your symptoms, trends will emerge between your symptoms and foods, and confidence in those trends will increase.

We Know Finding Food Sensitivities Is Difficult...

Experts have conflicting ideas.

We know that our diet impacts our health and how we feel. There are dozens of diet and nutrition fads telling you that you need to avoid eating certain foods and ingredients, and there are plenty of advocates behind each one.

Deciphering food labels is overwhelming.

Finding what ingredients to avoid can be like finding a needle in a haystack. Packaged foods can have DOZENS of ingredients, and we can eat a dozen of these packaged foods each day. It's overwhelming to decipher these cryptic ingredient statements.

Analyzing data is complex and time consuming.

After you decipher food labels and record what you’re eating, you also have to understand the relationship between what you eat and the symptoms you experience to understand what foods are likely suspicious, and if removing those foods actually makes your symptoms better over time.

So how do you discover what works best for you?

Three Levels Of Analysis

Ingredients

With over 100,000 packaged foods in our database containing ingredient statements, we can dig deep and pinpoint ingredients that are aggravating your symptoms.

Allergens

Sometimes we may have undiscovered food allergies, and we aren't sensitive to a particular trace ingredient. We track dozens of allergens present across our database to help you find any relationships between allergens in your diet and the symptoms you're experiencing.

Foods

We identify any whole food items that can be linked to your symptoms. Also, identifying food items may provide a preliminary signal in discovering ingredient sensitivities before there's enough data to suss out particular ingredients related to your symptoms.

How It Works

Configure The Analysis

Set the following parameters for analysis:

  • The Symptom: You can perform an analysis on any symptom you've been experiencing.
  • Symptom Window: This is the number of hours before a symptom's onset where you'd consider a food as suspect. a 4-hour symptom would consider any food eaten 4 hours prior to the symptom's onset as a suspect
  • Level Of Analysis: This lets you decide whether you want to see which ingredients are related to your symptoms, which allergens, or which food items.

View The Results

We rank order the resulting suspect foods in order from most likely to least likely to be related to the given symptom.
